Hereworks Joins the Smart Building Collective Service Certification Program

We're pleased to share that Hereworks has officially joined the Smart Building Collective ecosystem and begun our journey through the Smart Building Collective Service Certification Program.

The certification process is designed to benchmark and validate service providers who are actively shaping the future of smart buildings — not just in terms of technology, but across human performance, operational excellence, sustainability, and resilience. That framing matters to us, because it's exactly how we think about our work.

At Hereworks, we've long argued that the industry's real challenge isn't access to smart technology — it's connecting that technology to the people, operations, and outcomes that make buildings genuinely better. That's the thinking behind our Digital Building Contractor model, and it's what drew us to the Collective in the first place.

We we'll be working through the certification process alongside the SBC team, sharing our methodologies, contributing to SmartLAB research, and engaging with peer review and thought leadership across the ecosystem. It's a two-way process, and one we're genuinely looking forward to.
