Together Everywhere
Where People, Spaces, and Possibilities Come Together
Earlier this year, we opened the doors of the brand new DCU Polaris Building and invited some of the brightest minds in education and workplace technology to join us for a day unlike any other.
The result? A room full of leaders, innovators, and practitioners who came ready to ask the hard questions — and left with real answers.
The Hereworks Technology Showcase 2026 was built around one idea: what becomes possible when buildings, systems, and people are aligned with purpose?
We set out to move beyond the brochure and slide deck—to demonstrate, in a live operational space, how smarter, data-enabled, human-centred environments deliver better experiences and outcomes for education and work.
DCU's Polaris Building was the perfect backdrop for that ambition.
Morning Session | Education: Designing

The morning session brought together universities, higher education leaders, campus planners, and digital learning innovators to discuss one goal: better engagement, support, and campus life.
We explored how learning spaces can adapt to changing student needs, how data and behaviour insights improve the experience for students, lecturers, and campus teams, and how third-level institutions can build smarter, more reliable, more future-ready campuses — drawing on real examples from some of Ireland's leading educational environments.
Attendees also saw remote classroom joins in action, alongside the latest in camera tracking, display, and remote management technology.
Our Education panel brought the conversation to life, with panellists from Dublin City University, the Irish Management Institute, Crestron Electronics, and PTS Consulting — moderated by Katherine Harvey of Rethink Workplace Group.
Afternoon Session | Workplace: Creating

The afternoon turned to the modern workplace, where experience, productivity, flexibility, and employee well-being define success.
We examined how organisations transform spaces for hybrid teams, the effects of RTO, ways to reduce friction in employee experiences, and practical steps to improve collaboration, efficiency, and space use.
Our Workplace panel featured voices from Grant Thornton Ireland, Crestron Electronics, and PTS Consulting - again moderated by Katherine Harvey of Rethink Workplace Group.
The Technology Exhibition
On the exhibition floor, our technology partners — Crestron, Panasonic, Samsung, Shure, XY Sense, and Hereworks Solve — were on hand to showcase the very latest in smart environment technology.
Words only go so far. Watch the full event video below and take a look at the highlights from the day.
Whether you were in the room or are discovering us for the first time, we hope this gives you a sense of what we are building at Hereworks, and what becomes possible when technology is designed around people.
Together we can transform your building into a smart, efficient and sustainable space.
